Oh Deer!

     This week while searching fly tying on the marketplace I found a nice score! There was a guy selling deer hide and elk hide. It was a great price for it as well. After using my sister to contact him on the box of furs, I set up a time to pick them up. 

    To my surprise, when I showed up, the man looked familiar! It turns out that I used to work with him at Dish Network. After a great short conversation, I was able to head home and start tying! I tried my first attempt at the Henry's Fork Salmon Fly. It turned out alright. I will definitely need to keep practicing to perfect the art of tying with real hairs! 

    I have enjoyed my time in the class that has made this blog and new experience possible. Without it, and the constant push to always tie a fly, I would be living a boring life. To those that are reading this, I wish you good luck and tight lines!
